Bespoke Training

We are able to design bespoke training for your organisation around wellbeing and mental health where you can pick from a range of content to best suit your needs from: Stress, Wellbeing, Mindfulness, Resilience, Anxiety, Depression, Self Harm, Suicide, Psychosis, Personality Disorder, Eating Disorders and Mental health factors.

Managing Tricky Conversations

A session designed to help staff to avoid escalation by acknowledging inappropriate comments made in classrooms, for example relating to race, gender or sexuality.  To then deal with these by using holding statements whilst assuring anyone affected by the conversation that it will be dealt with in an appropriate manner.

Managing Resilience in the Classroom

This 90 minute session focuses on helping to develop positive ways to manage wellbeing and behaviours of young people blending restorative practices with mental health support, looking at identifying stress, anxiety responses, conversation skills and wellbeing management.

Managing Mindfulness in Education

This 90 minute session looks at the causes of worry leading to distress for young people and teaches the delegates mindful exercises and activities that they can use to reduce stress levels and improve wellbeing for young people.

Mental Health Awareness

Raising people awareness of issues that can affect a person’s mental health and wellbeing and look at ways to support yourself and others.

Wellbeing at Work

A great session to raise awareness about stress and the impact this can have on individuals and the whole organization and how additional support can be provided. The ultimate aim of this session is for everyone to have a better understanding around mental health and your organization’s duty of care to adopt a more positive and supportive approach for all employees.

Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) – Half Day Awareness

This introductory course is a great introduction to Mental health and provides an awareness of issues and how you may be able to start a supportive conversation. By raising awareness delegates will feel more able to challenge and reduce stigma and discrimination that mental health can bring. You will be certified as Mental Health Aware and many people then go on to complete the full two day course to become a Mental Health First Aider.

Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) – 1 Day Course

An awareness and skills course which will teach you how to recognize mental ill health and begin to understand how to respond appropriately. Learners will be recognized as a Mental Health Champion and will develop an understanding of how they can create and maintain a healthier and more productive workforce.

Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) – 2 Day Course

This full and comprehensive training certifies learners to be a nationally recognized Mental Health Faider.  The courses aims to provide a deeper understanding and awareness of various forms of mental ill health. All delegates receive manuals, workbooks and three years access to the online resource hub from MHFA England.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course which teaches people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis, it will not teach you to be a therapist, but just like physical first aid, it will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis. Adult MHFA England courses are for everyone aged 16 upwards and is accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health. Learning takes place through a mix of group activities, presentations and discussions.
